Jeremy Thring
Jeremy Thring joined his father's (and his grandfather's firm) as an articled clerk in 1957 and qualified in 1962 as a solicitor and notary public. He was senior partner of Thring, Thrings & Long and Thring Townsend until he stood down to become a full-time working consultant. He has over 40 years experience as a private client lawyer in general practice principally involved in advising in conveyancing transactions, large house, land trust management, wills, probate and estate management and charities. His notary public practice continues. He is Deputy Lieutenant for Somerset, Pro Chancellor and former Chairman of Council of the University of Bath, also former Chairman of the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases NHS Trust in Bath. He continues his involvement in a number of charities.
